GoWest Solutions Announces Leadership Institute Scholarship Winner Jamie Gaffney

GoWest Solutions is proud to announce the scholarship winner to the 2024 Leadership Institute: Jamie Gaffney, Director of Business Services, On Tap Credit Union.

GoWest Leadership Institute is a practical and interactive training program that helps enhance the leadership and managerial skills of emerging credit union leaders.

“To me, leadership means guiding others towards shared goals with inspiration, integrity, and empathy,” said Jamie Gaffney of Colorado-based On Tap Credit Union. “Being selected as the GoWest Solutions Scholarship recipient will enhance my managerial toolkit and elevate my leadership role with On Tap Credit Union.”

“We had an incredible group of credit union professionals apply for the scholarships this year,” said Layna Officer, GoWest’s Director of Credit Union Leadership and Talent Development. “It was exciting to see all the talent and passion that the scholarship nominees had. The 2024 Leadership Institute, as well as the Advanced Leadership Program and Executives@Skamania, will have outstanding groups of leaders in attendance.”

From April to September 2024, participants in Leadership Institute join a cohort of supportive peers and build a network that improves their leadership effectiveness through intensive in-person workshops, virtual seminars, online courses, and mentoring sessions. They develop stronger workplace relationships, leading to measurable improvement in the member experience. Each Leadership Institute graduation reveals a new group of values-based leaders who are committed to organizational excellence and the success of their credit union teams and community.
